1 Hour Neapolitan Styled Pizza Dough

This homemade pizza dough combines 00 flour and bread flour for a soft, chewy crust with great flavor. With simple ingredients and an easy rise, it creates a smooth, stretchy dough perfect for homemade pizzas.

Ingredients
  

  • 142 g 00 flour
  • 142 g bread flour
  • 9 g diamond kosher salt
  • 16 g sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 170 g warm wate

Equipment

  • 1 Stand Mixer with Dough Hook

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix until evenly incorporated.
  2. Add the warm water and place the bowl on the stand mixer.
  3. Mix on the lowest speed for about 5–8 minutes, or until the dough comes together and forms a smooth ball.
  4. Remove the bowl from the mixer and cover it with a towel. Let the dough rest for 1 to 2 hours.
  5. After the dough has risen, divide it in half to create two evenly sized pizza doughs. This recipe makes two pizzas.

Notes

  • If you aren't using a stand mixer, use a wooden spoon and hand kneed.
  • Your water should not be over 100 degreed Fahrenheit
